Your statutory rights

This policy preserves your applicable statutory consumer rights, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act and, where applicable, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Our voluntary change-of-mind offer is additional to those rights.

The voluntary return conditions below do not restrict a return, refund, repair, replacement or cancellation to which you are entitled by law. Statutory rights also apply to qualifying sale purchases. Supplier or manufacturer procedures do not replace those rights. Any product-specific warranty expressly provided with your purchase remains applicable according to its terms and the law.

Voluntary 14-day change-of-mind returns

AudioStyling offers a voluntary change-of-mind period of 14 days from delivery for qualifying online purchases. Please contact us within this period with your order reference or proof of purchase and the details of your return.

To qualify under this voluntary offer, the product generally needs to be:

Installed or used car-audio equipment does not qualify for a voluntary change-of-mind return simply because it is no longer wanted. This does not remove applicable statutory rights for defective or incorrectly supplied goods.

The customer normally pays the return courier costs for a voluntary change-of-mind return. Please contact us to arrange the return and package the product securely for transport.

Incorrect goods, defects and warranty assistance

Incorrect goods supplied by AudioStyling and genuine defects are handled separately from voluntary change-of-mind returns. Contact us with your order reference or proof of purchase, product details and a description of the issue so that we can arrange the appropriate next steps, including return transport where required by law.

Any applicable statutory remedies and responsibility for return costs are preserved. A fault does not have to be reported within the voluntary 14-day period to qualify for statutory protection.

Speakers and subwoofers

Speakers and subwoofers retain legitimate manufacturing-defect and statutory protection. They do not have a blanket “no warranty” exclusion.

Damage caused by clipping, overpowering, incorrect impedance, incorrect wiring, incorrect installation, unsuitable amplification, physical damage or misuse is not treated as a manufacturing defect. The cause of a reported fault may need assessment; a fault is not automatically classified as customer-caused merely because the product has been connected or used.

Technical assessment and other product types

Amplifiers, radios and other qualifying products may require supplier or manufacturer assessment. External technical assessment may take approximately up to 14 days in ordinary circumstances and can take longer where a third party causes a delay. This is an estimate and does not extend or override any applicable statutory deadline or remedy.

TVs, appliances, beds and other products follow the applicable supplier or manufacturer procedures together with statutory consumer rights. AudioStyling will assist with the appropriate process.

For out-of-warranty products, we may be able to assist with a paid assessment or repair quotation. No chargeable repair will proceed without the customer’s approval. Any proposed assessment charge will be communicated for approval before the chargeable work proceeds.

Special orders, custom goods and cut cable

Special orders are normally arranged by WhatsApp, telephone or in store and normally require a 30% deposit.

If a special order is cancelled after supplier commitment, genuine non-recoverable supplier, cancellation, restocking or transport costs may be deducted where legally permissible. The 30% deposit is not automatically forfeited in every circumstance.

Cut-to-length cable, custom and personalised goods generally cannot be returned merely because of a change of mind, subject to applicable law. Rights relating to defects, incorrect supply and other statutory remedies remain unaffected.

Courier damage

If packaging is visibly damaged, please photograph the parcel before opening it where reasonably possible, together with the damage, courier label, internal packaging and damaged goods. Retain the packaging.

Contact audiostylingsales@gmail.com or WhatsApp 066 171 6459 as soon as possible, preferably within approximately 48 hours for visible courier damage. This request supports courier claims and does not automatically remove statutory rights if a report is made later.

Concealed transit damage can occur even if the outer carton appears undamaged. Please report it as soon as you discover it so that we can assist.

Pre-dispatch quality control

Selected products may be opened and tested before dispatch where practical, including speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, radios/head units, selected DJ equipment and selected electronics.

AudioStyling may record the order reference, model, serial number, visible condition, basic functional test, packaging and parcel condition before courier handover, without unnecessary customer personal details.

QC checks do not remove statutory rights. A successful pre-dispatch test does not prove that every later fault was customer-caused.

Refunds

We will communicate the outcome after reviewing the return or issue. Refunds are normally processed through the original payment method or payment provider where appropriate; EFT may be used where appropriate. Applicable statutory refund requirements remain unaffected.

Merchant payment-gateway fees are not automatically deducted from a valid refund.
