A few basics before you buy.
RMS vs Max +
RMS is the power number to focus on. Max is usually a short-term figure. Check the amp and speaker RMS ratings at the same load.
SVC vs DVC +
SVC has one voice coil. DVC has two. The right one depends on how you wire the subwoofer to your amp.
1, 2 or 4 ohms? +
This is the load your amp sees. Your amp must support that load. The wrong setup can damage your equipment. Ask us if you are unsure.
Mono vs 4-channel +
A mono amp is mainly used for bass. A 4-channel amp usually powers speakers or mids. Check the product details before connecting.
What is clipping? +
Clipping happens when an amp is pushed beyond what it can output cleanly. It can damage speakers and subwoofers. Turn it down if the sound becomes harsh.
Why does wiring matter? +
Good power and ground wiring helps your system work safely and properly. Use the right cable size and fuse for your setup.
